Wednesday just got better thanks to Wednesdays at The Wharf, presented by Landshark Lager, is a free summer concert series that brings live music to Transit Pier every Wednesday. No matter your musical tastes—rock, folk, reggae, funk, pop—The Wharf has a performance for you, though you don’t need to be a fan already to enjoy the tunes, views, and food. The first acts on deck are Silver Spring–based rock band Lloyd Dobler Effect and DC-area funk group Jarreau Williams Band. Concerts run through August, so bring your family and friends and silence those mid-week blues.

Did you know that The Kennedy Center offers a FREE all-levels vinyasa yoga class in the Grand Foyer every Saturday?!

Community Yoga at The Kennedy Center is part of the Kennedy Center's health and wellness program Sound Health, created to make important and sometimes surprising connections between the performing arts and mind-body wellness.

Each session begins at 10:15 a.m. and lasts one hour.

An instructor from a different local yoga studio will lead each session – Core Power, Spark, Sculpt, East Side Yoga, etc.

Music for each session will be at the instructor's discretion.

*This is a reoccurring event that runs from October 7, 2017 - Saturday, August 25, 2018.
